    i think its cost, maybe costed gets used when translating between languages..

    if u wirte in a sentence lile "it costed 1 penny" but most peopel say how much did it cost so depends

    after "did" or "didnt" a present verse of the verb will always come .
    for example : i didnt go and not i didnt went.........
    and people that say "it costed 1 penny" are stupid .

    "det koster" it cost/s
    "det kostede" it costed
    "kan det koste" can it cost

    unless you give mroe information, both terms are correct :P

    i love being from the south..you say whatever sounds right...hell it doesn&#39;t even have to be close to a word....whose right is it to say its said wrong anyway? some person just came up with all of the english tenses so what if they would have made costed a word for real? hell it might be one day...they added ain&#39;t and a lot of other weird words to the dictionary here recently.

    It is grammatically incorrect to say "this cost me 5 dollars." However, it is also grammatically incorrect to use contractions in writing (unless it is a dialogue).

    well im not really a redneck...but when you live in the south you pick up the slang either way...i like having southern slang in my vocabulary

    well it costed depends also when i read it, also depends how u pronounce it cuz it changes the sentence
