Well as you may know or if you don't... February 4 is the world march against F.A.R.C (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias Colombianas = Colombian Armed Revolutionary Forces) and it's really imprtant for Colombians and the whole world, because it's also basicly the constant war on terror/terrorism. I hope everyone here at ko4life participates, and has interest on this, it may not be so important to you like for us colombians, but I hope everyone really get's into this. I lost my uncle to F.A.R.C and almost my grandfather, and I think to every Colombian it would mean a lot to us if other countries are involved also. It may not end them, that's for sure, it may not hurt them, it may not break them down, but at least we tried, and it could help.
If you're gonna flame with some stupid comment, please don't, if you'd like to comment or ask somethin, please do.
Please tell all your friends and family about this, maybe if your not intersted or don't care at least tell your family and frieds because maybe they will be interested. So anyways I hope everyone helps on this constant "war" for the Colombians. I'm trying to make people know at every page/forum possible so please spread the message.

Well, it's basically a march in a lot of cities of the world that will march as a symbolic act against F.A.R.C, so there must be a starting point at the country you live, I'll do more research to see if I can get all of the cities starting locations.

Well yes, everyone has their own problems, but if we can make a difference, if we can solve one problem, it may be the beggining of a wonderful called peace. I'm not saying that this march would make peace, it obviously won't, but it may do something, even if it's the smallest thing. I mean the people that are kidnapped by FARC are held like dogs or animals, they all put them in one big cage and tie them with a string around their neck, no human should be living in those conditions.

    A million voices against FARC.

We need our voices to be heard. Let’s not be silent anymore, let the world hear us; let every guerrilla man or woman hear us: We repel FARC - EP (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People's Army). We DON’T want more armed fight.

FARC have deceived the world once again by not freeing the thousands of kidnapped people they have kept captive for almost a decade now, recurring one more time to all kinds of tricks and evasive lies.

Kidnapping is the worst of acts against human dignity, and FARC have kidnapped and kept captive thousands of people over the last years, while they keep growing their drug production and drug traffic business, perpetrating all kinds of crimes and terrorist attacks against people, bringing poverty and misery to our country, which has suffered this plague and humanitarian tragedy for more than forty years now.

Colombia, Colombians, friends from all over the world, let’s unite to shout loudly:

    NO MORE!
    NO MORE KIDNAPPING!
    NO MORE LIES!
    NO MORE MURDER!
    NO MORE FARC!

Let’s commit ourselves to join a million voices in this group so we can make a difference, and let the entire world know that we don’t need that “People’s Army” here in Colombia; that FARC is a terrorist group, led by murderers and enemies of the Colombian and World’s People.

This is a cause beyond all political interests or colors. It’s a humanitarian cause, encouraged by a simple sense of solidarity, for the sake and welfare of our citizens.

Join us; We need our voices to be heard.

    A million voices against FARC.

I think my girl friend was talking about this. Do you sign up for the march? Or do you just show up? Is it like a fund raiser, does it cost to sign up for the march? And how long does the march go on for?

Honest reply: There is really no point of marching. They wont stop just because millions of people marches around the streets. Voices is cheap in this world now. the only way is arm those people in the streets and fight them. Sounds abit harsh but thats the only way. Been like that for thousands of years. Only way to stop them and drive them out is a war. They are terrorist, they wont listen to anyone with out a fight. Im not against you guys and i know this is a serious problem but voices would not get it done. thats just how it is. War= later Peace in this world, very ironic but its truth

You just appear at the starting point and march, in every city there'll be several starting points, and all will meet at the same point which must be an important place at that city i guess; i guess it must be like 1 hour march, im not sure about that, i'll check it out.

well it's just a manifestation to show FARC that they're not doing any good, with they're so called "People's Army" the only thing that they have been doing is to cause suffering and death to our country. So yea it's possible that this won't do anything, but at least we know that always that things are fucked up we can count on others to help. And about the war = peace, yea that's true, the problem is that the guerrilla here at Colombia is all spread over the jungle, so we can't actually get them (They're hidden, like osama is right now).
