Firefox uses 78-85k when I just open it and if I open a new tab it uses 10-15k for every new tab I use.
IE7 uses 115k when I just open it and if I open a new tab it uses 20-50k for every new tab I use.
Chrome uses 10k when I just open it and if I open a new tab it stays the same(I open 4 tab and it when up to 15k)

IE7 FOR THE WIN!!! It works great dont need any other browser.. And about the 100k+ for 1 tap thats nonsense.. Its like 50k for 1 but i dont care :P got enough gigs

Chrome uses like 15k per tab. If you open a new tab another thingy will come in task manager

Conclusion:

Firefox>Chrome if you multi tab
Chrome>Firefox if you open one tab
Firefox/Chrome>IE7

Also I&#39;m lagging very badly now with Chrome with all these tabs

your cpu usage is quite high ... anyway, all depends on how much ram you&#39;ve got. i don&#39;t notice a thing with 5 tabs open

IE runs at about 40-100k with one or two tabs dependng on how long that I keep it on and I can always reset the browser to bring it back to 40-50k.

i just did a small test, 5 tabs on all of them

chrome = 94kish ( this one might change but its still a lot higher )
opera = 60-75k , yes it changes
firefox = 65 - 72k , it changes aswell

chrome still doesnt lag on my pc , i dont know about yours but its weird that it uses so much more memory
