oh mah.. just saw that movie once more.
Hooligans
(probably in english: Green street hooligans or like that, with elijah wood, claire forlani, charlie hunnam)

its a very good movie in my opinion. but.. is it for real that the hooligans have a 2nd life as fighters and in their fights also "RULES" what to do? (for example: not attack some1 which is on the ground)

one nice quote was like:
Matt(yankee):" so you are smehting like a gang"?
Pete(chief of the GSE):"uhm.. something like that, but we are not gangs like you see it in the states. i mean to shoot on a 8 year old kid out of the car is just cowerdly" (dont know cowerdly is the correct word for it <- babelfish translator said this)

the story had alot of drama at the end especially after "major"'s hospital part when his friends told him that his brother, Pete, died in a fight against their biggest enemys.

discuss please, generally hooligans and not rly about movie

are there any rules for hooligans in england?.

in switzerland we have also 2 known groups and they say:
we fight only against fighters which are able to fit with us.
we fight until the enemy is on the ground but after that, no other hits.
we dont attack any ppl on the streets.

these are rules i know from here.

because in the movie there was a scene like that:
pete and matt are in the train and pete is talking about hooligans and their gangs and how that works etc.
a woman comes in their section, pete stands up and said, that she can sit on his seat, since she had baggage.

when i saw that. i thought about it and hooligans arent that bad right? they fight only against ppl that want see some blood too?
which means. when i get in england, go watch a football game, chances that i get hurt by hooligans are low?

Frodo in the ICF come on!

There's better movies out there if you like hooligan flicks:
The Football Factory: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0385705/
ID: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113375/
The Firm: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095158/

Funny thing about The Firm is that Gary Oldman looks like the old Arsenal keeper David Seaman
