This movie is based on the 300 spartan warriors ,who went up against some 300,000 persians at the Thermopylae Pass. They didn't win,but they killed thousands,and the persian king had thoughts of retreating. The thermopyle pass, it's history. 300 man fought heavily outnumbered in a small mountain pass and managed to kill way more then they should do and thanks to that they could win others wars that came after thermopyle war
yeah i know all about the history of sparta, i just think its gonna be a nice depiction of war/glory.
