Ok so i come across sluggish starts from my car, so i thought the battery was dying, went to buy a new battery the guys said to just charge my existing one, so i did.
Now my car doesnt crank over at all (battery completely dead?), so i thought hey lets clean these terminals cos they are filthy... so i did that, still nothing..
so i thought, CRAP! dont tell me my starter motor has carced it, so i got my bro turn the egnition while i prodded my starter motor and it sluggishly turned on, after that i just knew my starter motor was screwed so i turned it off and went and had a coffee, came back, went to turn it back on prodding it, BAM! im gettin sparks from the engine bay over near the alternator.
Now my question is do you think i may have a chance of the starter motor being ok, and that i just have faulty earthed wired thats not giving enough power it should? or should i jack it up pull my car apart to get to the starter motor and replace it and pray.
I drive a VS commoddore berlina that is setup like a VL v6 (strange i know but thats how i bought it) :mellow:
