i'd say the PS3 online community, where you walk around and talk to people in a 3D environment, is what i believe all sites will look like in the future. instead of pages you visit different shops / look at warning signs / billboards / ....

friend of mine is taking a 3d modelling course, and or something related.
had to come up with a sales pitch and overall marketting scheme for something he wanted to revolve around gaming.
just trolling for idears, i couldn't give him much to work with.
but the ps3 design... genius ! never played, so couldn't know.
