no doubt because christmas is near the riaa mpaa all those fuck nuts seem to have a hard on recently if u haven't heard about it i suggest u go browse news section at dslreports.com all types of shit is going down such as

Uk wanting to block all p2p actions through isps
Comcast supposely delaying /blocking or watever torrent like programs along with kazaa and others i think <even tho im still keeping good ratio i do notice speeds droping not to mention comcast sending letters out to people so there not liable
Denmark doing some type of subscribtion so p2p is legal or something

buncha other shit going down including first case being won by riaa just this month making lady pay 10 grand for each for 24 songs the riaa found she downloaded/upload on kazaa back in 2005 WDF like 220000 she paid or some shit almost faced up to 150000 per each song

anyways after reading all this garbage first time in a long time i've ever considered stopping ofc im going to research it more ask a couple freinds bout it before i go cold turkey been years since i willingly paid to go to movies or visited blockbuster to rent a movie for myself sucks

if all else fails i'll just move back to irc even tho getting movies from irc sucks dick

screw the movie and music industry. most pop acts and movies suck anyhows.
i listen to smaller acts now or artists that give their stuff away for free. the new radiohead album is free and isnt too bad.

...
use bit torrent to dl movies....pretty nifty and from what i understand, youre not dl'ing from one person but from multiple people...so less of a chance in getting caught and downloading a virus? im not sure, im not a techie...but so far, so good.

I wish they would kill all the kazaa, torrent BS.

Back in the day Naptser was the shit, after that everything was dumb.
Also, when you're leet like me, you get access on 100mbit DUMPS/Pre-sites.
So that you can download everything that gets released in the warez scene
Oh, and also before other people have it.

In Highschool i had my own business, I sold ALL apps/movies/ps2,pc,xbox games/albums. I just told people to give me a request list of the games/movies/apps/albums and i'd go download it off the dumps and sites and sell it to them for 5$

But then, Kazaa came, i lost some customers because of that, but since kazaa mostly had bullcrap releases and people renaming stuff that wasnt the correct information and also the quality of the movies were basically ALL cam, or TS. I still did sell a shitload of warez.

Anyways, now 9 years later, Im still leeching my ass off of dumps and pre-sites and god, I enjoy it. I see myself leeching warez untill I die, or untill ALL pre sites get busted and ALL release groups get busted too, which will never happen

I use bittorent for pretty much everything now. Limewire is only used when I want to find single songs, otherwise its severely outdated. The newer underground "rapidshare" method doesen't work as well as it used to, but it was a good way to get new relieses quickly. Bittorrent is still my bitch... she gets me everything I want and if you choose the torrents wisely the speeds are only limited to your connection.

My best friend got hit up by the RIAA. This is true information. I stopped torrenting aswell. If you guys want to download, get a rapidshare accounts. Go to movie forums, and download like that. It is only 10 bucks a month.

The music/film industry is starting to realise that they are not needed anymore due to the internet, and it scares them. They will fight with lawsuits for a few years to try and cling on to the "oldschool" way of controlling the industry centrally, but in the end they will collapse. They must know that stopping p2p of copywrite material is impossible, their random lawsuits are just a deterrent since the numbers being charged are negligible. They are paying the price for spewing out thousands of awful pop songs and awful films which have been bettered by indepedent artists. Nowadays musicians can make far more profit by removing the label influence and dealing with distributors and advertisers directly thanks to the internet.

the thing about letters i was wrong about read bout it again notice dates i confused it because of the new news about comcast blocking/delaying which my friend who's seen it all go down told me its just comcast trying to conserve there bandwith but with recent shit comcast is going through such as the big ten network and all the bad pr from delaying bittorrent there sales have fallen horribly altho for comcast they are at there peaking point i believe i expect to see some changes soon enough

really tho fact that the riaa has won there first case just in this month is pretty fucked and around another 30k cases mostly expect to be settled outta court kinda has me staying away from any public trackers
