You are not counting how strong a gorilla's muscles are. There's a video somewhere of a 2 year old orangutan overpowering a sumo wrestler in a tug of war. P.S. Many primates (not only humans) use tools (bones and branches)to fight too.

that orangutang is on Humans Vs Animals, the sumo was standing on 1 side of a poll, orangu on the other, both hold a big rope, and between them where alot of mud, so they were having this struggle to get the other one smashed in the mud, the Sumo started since the ape didnt know exactly when to start since he doesnt speak english, the orangutang wasnt barely struggeling, he let the sumo work for a while then SMASH ^^
