All death metal and its sub-categories are dominated by the american bands. Black metal is mainly an europe thing. The good middle-eastern bands have mixed certain local/folk rythms into their styles but the mediocre bands when they try to emulate the "main" sound 4/5 of the time they just fail.

    Listening now:
Pentagram... power metal. I'm not gonna rate or judge this I have no interest or time for power metal.
Cenotaph - (from the youtube link) the audio quality was as good as a Vlad Tepes tape (big minus in case you dont know who Vlad Tepes are), and another negative that i'd like to mentionis that the carcass-inspired lyrics are seriously boring and show a lack of enthusiasm and inspiration. However it was still very much entertaining, the guitar work reminds me of Lord Gore and a bit of Devourment (big plus). I'ma try to get a few mp3s for a better listen, maybe upload them...

Oh and here's a nice addition to the topic
Metal Archive's list of bands from turkey
