cancellation of recurring plan

All wow subscription are recurring, so if I cancel my subscription, do I lose the month paid? or just the recurring plan is cancelled?

blizard is fair, you get what you paid, nothing more, nothing less. Days which the servers are totally down due to upgrade, you get your days back.
