i was just posting what i saw on wow heroes

and gearscore isnt completely useless, if your pugging extra people for a 25man raid, it helps weed out the people in blues and greens trying to score some nice loot from raids their not geared for

and yea it just looks at item level, but normally items with higher ilvl have better stats

better stats =/= better itemization......sure toc>naxx but ulduar hardmode>toc normal evne though ulduar hardmode is 239 gear and toc normal is 245

and my gear score on my hunter in full naxx gear was like 1.9k-2k and i was outdpsing and out surviving people with 2400 gear score(full ulduar/toc normal gear), knowing fights+class>gearscore...any noob can get full epics now a days
