Recently I've been dealing with a large amount of old accounts that need to be reactivated. Since scamming is a big issue here, if you lost access to the account email, there's no way for us to tell if you are the real owner of the account or not.
Unless you are a real life friend of someone part of the staff that can actually verify your identity, we won't be changing emails for old accounts. Please do not insist.
We will also proceed on deleting most of those old/inactive accounts for security reasons.
NO WE WON'T GIVE NEW ACCOUNTS ACCESS TO MARKET PLACE, EVEN IF YOU HAD A 3+ YEAR OLD ACCOUNT. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. PLEASE DON'T INSIST.
