saw it yesterday.

decent movie, i expected a bit more. storyline is not bad but some things are just not possible like they showed in movie so it was maybe more of sf move then catastrophe movie. acting was pretty good i guess but the whole movie seems a bit too much anticipated.

worth watching but dont get too exited, scenes in trailer are obviously the best scenes in movie.

8/10 (just because effects are amazing)

Saw it last night and the place was pack.
The overall movie was good so if you are expecting something serious don't go. It is mostly entertainment.

BUT, I was not expecting for them to put so much truth in the movie (Yellowstone blowing up, plate tectonics, shifting of the poles, solar flares and the effects of it on earth, I ching, etc) I was very pleased!

Action: 10/10
Humor: 8/10
Storyline:7/10 (believable in some way, NOT the whole flying out of the plane when two building are collapsing)
Entertainment: 10/10

Overall: 8/10 worth watching on big screen

Just saw it and;

Why there's always the Airforce One on every damn catasrophe-movie?

Nice bullshit with the arc part, ridiculous chasing in limo and then plane with someone as a pilot who had like "few lessons and not planes with multiple engines" who suprisingly flys better than any airforce pilot between 2 buildings with an Antonov.

Mr Emmerich got so much phantasy, he should be locked up.

IF the effects would be nice you could still say "atleast the visual effects", but this isn't the case. Only thing I've enjoyed was the parts with "the facts" and some shots where you could see the earth taking damage.
