Film is made from strip "300!" by Frank Miller (same guy that invented batman, daredevil, sincity, robocap... ). I have read it , but haven't watched the film yet
If they haven't changed story from the stip, it will be great. And for those who doesn't know anything about persian-greek wars, you should read a bit before watching it.
