I'm looking for the best horror movie to watch with my gf. Nothing too cheesy or lame, looking for something really thrilling

I think the orginal Excosise is always a good one. The Japaniess vertion of "The Ring" is very fucked up.

The Shineing always freaks me out ( Stanly Kubrick at his best )

As above I hear Insidus is ment to be a pretty freaky film.

Finally Ridley Scott's "Alien" is always a good one to get the pulse racing.

zombie horror : 28 weeks later, dawn of the dead, rec 1 and 2
alien horror : war of the worlds, signs
jap horror: ju on, ringu, dark water
chinese horror: the eye

nekromantik 1 .This is worse than terror . is very crude and heavy scenes.It is about necrophilia , is a film of 1987 , the effects are not the best .but it has parts that truth cult.

Insidious wasn't bad but it was kinda lame and boring you want a nice horror movie watch the exorcist movies the old ones also you can try the first nightmare on elm street or maybe even laid to rest was pretty good also the new wonr turn bloody beginings was not bad but cmon guys the shinning paranormal activity most horror movies these days aren't that scary that whole watching a camera through a camera kinda thing is just shit hes probably looking for something that will make his gf cuddle up and grip up tight next to him
