    Default Connection Issues

    Im deciding on ordering a ps3 but i ran into some problems. I want to run the console on my monitor and I need an hdmi to dvi cable. no problem but i noticed that my monitor has a cable attached to the dvi instead of the port being on the back. i have an hp 1702 monitor and i was wondering if could still buy the hdmi cable along with a dvi connector and connect the two heads or it wont work. i dont want to end up buying another monitor right now will this work?

    thx for replying . i found it out on my own, i need an hdfury adapter along with an hdmi to dvi adaptor or cable. since my my monitor is analogue (vga)
