i just bought battle field 3 and im pretty good AT KILLING but i dont get how you knows there different classes and some of them have radios,health kits, ect? i just dont get the hole concept its kinda confusing is there like a tutorial for it?

assault > has medikits, assault rifles, noobtubes and defi to revive dead mates
recon > aka sniper, has tactical insertion radios, soflam (marking them vehicles)
ammo dude > has heavy machine guns, mortar, ammunition box to supply bros, explosives such as c4 claymores
engineer > assault rifles, anti air - anti ground rocketlaunchers, anti tank mines, repair tools for vehicles

so i didnt really get the sniper one what does he do beside sniping? and can u give me example?
