It depends who ask me to play, it could be Canon rock (by funtwo = Best version so far with mattrach one), or some RHCP songs, Satriani, Eric Clapton etc...What some leet sounding songs you play when someone asks you to play a song

Red Hot - Californication, Under The Bridge, My Friend, Zephir Song
Metallica - NEM
Some reggae you mustn't know...
Then if you start to play guitar, try Nirvana songs, NEM and stairway to heaven with solo... It's a good train to start, and not very difficult
