    totally depends on your standard, the standard of the listeners and also what genre they like.

    My teacher was into jazz so he taught me a portfolio of sort of jazz/swing songs to play solo which never really came into use apart from being drunk on ventrilo. Stuff like fly me to the moon, the entertainer, and chick corea numbers. They are better for when playing to older people.

    Me personally if i really wanna show off then i play neo-classical stuff. For instance stratosphere by stratovarius:

    It's actually quite easy to play, aslong as you can alternate pick to a reasonable speed you can play it, and it impresses people who can't play guitar.

    Asides from that, I sometimes play a rock version of Turkish Rondo (Mozart) and a rock version of Four Seasons - Summer by Vivaldi which i think Mirara used on one of her videos.
