So after numerous CT scan and MRIs they couldnt find anything wrong w/ my brain, so the doc diagnosed me with Bells Palsy. Basically a portion of the nerves that sprout off my spinal chord and service my face were traumatized, affecting the left side of my head.

The nerve regenerates at a rate of 1.5mm a day, so eventually sensation will be restored, but its hard to know how long that will be.

The numbness I had to my arms and legs was unrelated to my facial issues and also has gone away . .so aside from my speech being affected slightly and migraine-like headaches. . .i'm fine.

Thanks to everyone again for all your concern, funny posts to cheer me up and general interest in my recovery...your concern will not be forgotten.
