thats because getting game into steam takes time and people were expecting new server never the less.
When you are dealing with valve you ahve to have patience, lots of it really
Let's say it got green light this year, it will take 6months to a year to get game support steam :P or vise versa

So yeah, of course, they will earn a lot of money by releasing this server but I don't think that's the main reason.

There is no official statement about releasing a new server once KO will be published on Steam.
But it's very likely that they'll release a new server once they start publishing it on Steam.

I wouldn't rush playing MIDGARD tho, it'll be the same exact thing like Orion more or less.
If anything, then.. the new server that might be released once NTTGame release USKO on Steam.
