Can someone give me the breakdown? It's been years since i've played KO. Last I played Gamersfirst was still running it. I heard abit about gamersfirst losing privileges of hosting the game because they never paid mGames or some shit. Anywhoo, whats going on with the game now? I heard steam is running it, which could be nice to have a decent company running the game. Are there still massive amounts of bots and chinese gold sellers? Any pure English servers?

Steam isnt running ko the game is only hosted on their platform and usko still exists steamko and usko are just on different platforms. About the k0xpers yes they still exist but they usually get taken care of much more often and faster than before.

Install KO from Steam and give it a try, you can choose from 3 diff servers.

Hellsgarem is the latest and the only server that doesn't allow logins from Turkey.
Loads of peruvians playing but quite large english community aswell.

I don't know about other 2 but on Hellsgarem Ardream is somehow active, peak hours for US/PERU.
RLB is closed and Ronark Land is active.

Server has been up for less than 2 months so prices are still bit up & down.
No need to rush with premiums, you can level up easy by doing quests all the way to 60-70. During that time you will notice if you like the server or not

Well, it probably depends in what time do you play. If you play in Europian time, play on Cypher. It is harder to log in without premium but definitely it is the most populated server on Steam. Don't know situation in ardream, but in CZ there are 50 vs 50, 80 vs 80 etc, so quite good.
If you play in Peru time, you can thing about hellsgarem ..

Cypher is full of turkish players tho, so it's far away from english server.

On Hellsgarem, you get 1x SA pm per month. Not that bad

1) Only non-turkish server is Hellsgarem
2) Bots can be found in any server, usually farming low level mobs and Ardream bosses because they get banned fairly swiftly so no biggie if you go 80+
3) [most important] if you have somewhat good memories of old KO, don't bother starting again
