BUild me a computer that will run crysis in full settings for under 1500 gogogo
Friend needs to fun FFS IV better so he wants to find out what makes it lag....
Memory: 320GB
RAM: 2GB
Processor: AMD Athelon 64 dual core processor 4000+ (2.1ghz)
Graphics card:Geoforce 6150 fe nforce 430
He told me this all over the phone so sorry if spelling is off etc....
His budget is 200-300 usd for upgrades. Let me know anything please
so im trying to get new pc and i need some advice.
so far im gona get:
processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edit /3.4GHz
mother board: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
ram: 2x2gb but i need help which1
graphic card: geforce gtx460 gigabyte
thats what i need. help me plx
oh and if some1 could explain me the difference between ddr2 and ddr3 rams. im pc noob so not complicated explanation :P

1st of all, if your going to use a phenomII x4 965, why do you limit yourself with a motherboard supporting such low ram specs? make sure you change that motherboard to something which accepts DDR3 Which is faster than DDR2 rams for the rest, all seems ok, make sure all your setup is compatible tho

Ram is DDR2 i assume and i would definitely change this Graphics card:Geforce 6150 fe nforce 430 to get at least a 256mb of dedicated video

that keyboard is any good ? It has programmable keys I guess , hows the timing on the keyboard ?
I would recommend on Hardware (out of pc) :
mouse - Razer Naga
keyboard - Razer ultimate black widow / logitech g15 / g19
mouse pad - steelseries QCK + / heavy
headphones - steelseries would be good (siberia v2)

It runs great so far! will upgrade eventually the graphics, but this was a great start for being on a budget

i should probably point out that on this page alone, the post dates go back to 2, 23, 2010... so keep in mind what you had for a pc in early 2010 if you're going to call them crap.
/ontopic, whats the cheapest i could build a decent dual core/quad core with 16gb of ram nowadays? like 1200?
