Hmm been also looking around in search of a new computer but all this new duo, dual, quad shit is really confusing me and don't have a clue on what to purchase...


Now i was looking around on Dell.com and they had Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and Intel Dual-Core Processor, what is the difference between the two?

dual core came first and is worst... core 2 duo came 2nd .. there is also core 2 extreme (basically overclocked) for you
