do you believe everything your recruiter says? i would rather believe oprah, the military, along with politics lies about everything, there is still no way we could leave iraq in a year, at least withdraw forces. yes, it is getting better, but there are still many things we need to do in order for them to actually withdraw. 1/9 just went to iraq, and my unit just got back, they tell us that they are getting fucked up pretty good over there cause the insurgents arent stupid, they know when new units get to iraq. and know when to engage, and when not to engage, so if we withdraw from iraq within the next year, then it will be as if we did nothing because the insurgents will just pop up again like they did in 2004-2005 in phantom fury.
