IMO tailoring / enchanting since you can craft your shadoweave set and enchant your rings with +12 spell damage and other enchants you need. Plus you can disenchant all the gear that you replace from raiding.

    Tailoring a must
your second proffesion, you can choose what you want
Enchanting is quite nice, a okey money maker and you can always sell the stuff you d/e(i prefer keeping mine, since then i can enchant buddies and stuff)

Enchanting can probably one of the best professions outhere to make gold.
Solo runs to strat mean 2/3 orbs and tons of large brilliant shards., you can always DE the raid gear youreplace or even after you have too many badges from doing khara/ZA you just buy items for the DE.

pretty sure you cant d/e items from badges
Most vendor items you cant d/e so you wont make alot of money from that, plus you need 300 skill to d/e all 70 items

it's expensive as hell to lvl up your enchanting, even more now since people dont even sell enchant stuff under lvl 60(well, it's quite rare that they are cheap and available on our server)

id say, if u arent worried about cash, and you're already 70- to lvl enchanting to 375 (to make it useful) ull have to spend A LOT of money, im talking 1-5k gold. but yes enchanting is a good advantage due to ring enchants. also cuz of disenchanting. tailoring is not as important, because your crafted set only has 3 pieces, and they can get replaced fast. i wouldnt take tailoring unless u really enjoy crafting items- in which case thts the way to go, it IS really fun

tailoring is great, cause shadoweave set is gear you can use up to ssc/tk and maybe even bt(dont really know how it is for shadow priests but it's like this for mages spellfire set atleast)

yeah for mages, for locks/priests, the shadoweave isnt as great... it has a stupid ice damage on it which is rediculous. and actually there are a LOT better items u can get, or at least items that are about the same. u have to spend TONS of gold lvling tailoring up, plus then on the mats too. so its not worth it at lvl 70 especially.

that depends how far you gotten in teh raid progress, and besides it's always nice to atleast got the tailoring set to atleast have som epics instead of going in green gear

if u gotten to 70 the right way- u should have some nice gear from other instances, maybe heroics, or even reputation rewards. why waste so much time and MONEY, on lvling tailoring and crafting ur set, if u can do other things and no waste money?

if you're already 375 tailor- then by all means make the set,or if you're not 70, and u want tos tart making shadowcloth for ur set, or spell cloth- do that too, that way ull save LOTS of time and money.
im saying if ur already 70, and u dont have tailoring- dont waste ur time lvling it up JUST for the set. aint worth it, just go get rep, use that money to lvl up rep, or run heroics,.

first of tailoring isnt that great.. if u pvp.. theres way better gear than shadow weave set
2nd enchanting isnt that great of a money maker.. most of the poeple who u r going to enchant mongoose or savagry already have mats.. so ur likley only to get couple gold tips

2nd.. enchanting is pretty easy to get high if u solo ur way to 70..
im making a new char right now.. hes 24 and already at 122 enchanting... i havent enchanted 1 piece of gear yet.. just save em all up and by d/e items.. u will get higher skill
