Every big server opening has always been this way, including usko. Not just knight online. Diablo 3 release servers went down because of massive number of people trying to log in. WoW had the same issues at times. Kids act like they are losing so much by seeing 2-3 items drop and seeing people reach 60. Get real, it takes 3-4 hour to reach that level.

Do you guys not understand that this will just happen again everytime they wipe it? Just let the game run, who fucking cares if there are a few master items out there whether there was 200 or 2000 people online the items would have dropped anyway.

when you learn how a KO server works, even a dedicated server, then speak, he had a fully working server with 1500+ players, that's pretty much unheard of for a private server, he was greedy. Those websites you claim that cant handle mass ddos attacks which ones would you be referring to? you do know that a KO server and a website/server are two completely different things right? They have had 9 days to go over security loops, fix things and still they cant provide an out come they promised.
Also ive seen the not so popular server's you've played Andy and you pissed on all of them, why change your theory now?

Do you not read the fucking news? When those losers anonymous so called "hack these websites" it's just a basic DDoS. Enough people doing it it's impossible to protect against until it happens.

Freakaleek has got a good point if you do wipe same shits gonna happen over and over again, so heres a solution, instead of wiping, keep this server running, and when you restart servers after a crash log on your GM accounts and go kill ALL the bosses before anyone else can, cause this server is already getting flooded with uniques.

As for you sephiroth, clearly you've never run a server before, servers with 300 users have the same issues/even bigger issues than this, a ddos attack is a spam on the server, so already you have 1500-2000 players spamming the login trying to log on, then to top it off you have attacks from god knows how many different places coming at you. A server cannot handle that much traffic and run smoothly when it's getting hit so often.

Hacking is not just ddosing. They don't just overwhelm servers they take over servers. There is a difference. When they hack a website they put their manifesto explaining their reason. Do you know what ddos is?
