BDW will be released at least 1 week after the relaunch of the official server. I would assume the reason being is so everything isn't released at once so players don't get bored so quickly of doing the same things over and over again, new additional things will be added in expansions to keep players interested and occupied with different things to do.Originally Posted by Odi
Ardream is probably the stupidest thing this server could do. Bad enough the maps are as huge as they are atm but good since only 1 pk zone. But to add another zone of pk even if no bosses or gives less nps wont stop about an easy 20/25% of the population to go there due to not having gear or just to farm some mobs to not get raided ,seeing Eslant already takes a chunk of the people out of cz. I see people getting bored twice as fast with 2 pk zones out even if first week since , tbh, won't take more then a few days , if that to reach the max level at the rate people exp atm.
Ardream exp spots are much better then CZ as well, it'll take out the whole exp population from CZ unless you decrease the exp gotten in Ardream. One CZ and two Eslants is enough, no need for Ardream.

As far as Ardream goes, whether it splits the population or not, it is only for the first few days, here's how I look at it, either server gets attacked, main server goes down, and there's no where to PK/PVP and the players who are already exp'd up are left without much to do causing them to be bored during the down time and having players rage about server being down and not coming up soon enough and blah blah blah w/e etc, or main server goes down and k2 still has a zone for players to PK/PVP giving players still something to do in the downtime so they're occupied and don't end up raging the entire time.
Yes it will split the population, yes it will split the PK, but it's only for the first few days till the massive attacks can be worked against/stopped, after that ardream gets taken out, and the real PK when most of the server is leveled up and decently geared begins and it's only in CZ. Regardless if they add ardream for a few days or not people are gonna complain and rage either way. Can't make everyone happy, but honestly in my own opinion having an ardream for the first few days is a good idea, CZ was way too packed, there was no where to XP or farm in CZ without getting raided/ks'd 24/7, so i'm all for having another "PK/Farm zone" for the first few days just till everyone/everything settles in.
after dling the client 2 times + installing with my antivirus off my launcher still isn't working. been trying for 3 days now

As of right now the servers are down and the launcher isn't updating for anyone. But there have been problems with players launchers not downloading patches correctly through ftp therefor it wouldn't update, and if you happen to be one of those players you need to go to the forums download section and download the last 2 patches and extract them manually into your oldschoolko folder. Only the last 2 (recent ones) patches, since theres like 30+ there.after dling the client 2 times + installing with my antivirus off my launcher still isn't working. been trying for 3 days now

If i can suggest anything, before wipe the nations were unbalanced, there were alot of orcs, and no humans, and also some human clans are comming to orc side this time, so if u want have to balanced pk, go to hum with ur clan plox.
I'm not a leader nor an assistant in this clan, idc what nation I go tbh, you can try contacting meistershizzle on the osko forums and talk to him about it, i don't have much say in that category

2 Questions
1) Can I just keep the old client and will auto update when server releases or will I have to dl the brand new client?
2) Is there any given release time yet for the server for saturday? If it will be sometime in the afternoon, morning or 29th on midnight release
