Isn't there a way to collect the treasury without publicly awarding oneself?

Well there is a chance he's doing an event with it, many kings do 'merchant event' where they simply buy potions for (let's say..) 1m per potion and in order to do that they have to award themselves.

Besides, if you were a king and took all the money to yourself it wouldn't make you corrupted, you are actually meant to take all the coins you collected from taxes to yourself, but if you decide to do events with it then it's your choice.
I'm not saying taking all the money to yourself is right as it's some sort of tradition to thank your voters by doing events here and there but then on the other hand it's just a tradition. No one can force you to do that.
I think it's difference from CSW where you fight for, and you are really the owner of that money.
You would be here defending sketchy activity.

His argument was good.
He usually takes money of C3 treasury on himself when he's gonna do an event. And he lets people know when he's doing that, only in turkish unfortunately.
You probably don't understand what he is saying because he types it in Turkish. He is not a guy that would be willing to get criticism from people for the amount of money in the treasury, especially for 26M.

It's not sketchy activity, I've been king 3x, and literally every time I would do a buy potion for 1m event, that's what would be spammed. KING STOLE MONEY BLA BLA. That is the only way for a king to run a buy event, by paying himself. I even tried a couple times giving money to another to buy the pots, then got accused of KING GIVES ALL MONEY TO FRIENDS BAD KING!!!!
Meanwhile Maxi is mega pissed on orc side as impeachments keep taking place.
Yea, and it keeps being initiated by an English clan pretty much assuring anytime an English speaker gets lucky enough to get elected, they will be impeached a day later....gg
This topic is really meaningless , because we all know if you were the king you'd do the exact same thing....

Not hard to find on youtube, clips about beggars willing to help people more than rich asses xD
