There always remains a risk when doing usd trades. I for one didnt call you a scammer. I told you that your argument that there had to be something wrong with mercy because he didnt go along with your terms on the trade was in itself stupid and i'm willing to call it arrogant too. Thinking for yourself is nice, but in a trade it is not all about you. If someone has traded with someone before that is not a bad thing it lowers the risk on a potential scam. If you think this isn't the case I heighly doubt those thinking skills you claim to have. Also disagreeing on what the majority deems a fair risk division is not a crime, but you can't blame others for not trusting you if you decide you want something. Also better edit that personal anger, because it makes you look retarded.

...of course "that didn't happen"...he did not agree to the trade after you proposed those ridiculous terms. "Could easily scam" is referring to a hypothetical situation which was avoided because this seller had the common sense to not be desperate/brain-dead. How you can interpret that as "proof" you would not have scammed him..is beyond me. The potential for scamming existed there, that's all; we'll never know for sure since the deal fell through, but that you don't seem to grasp these details is impressive.

The fact that you would call people who want to be paid first before sending an item as "braindamaged" or having "autism", really makes me think you shouldn't be trading on Pojo at ALL. If any mods read this thread still, I suggest banning Lina from trading permanently so no more drama of this type can happen again.

Also, buyers don't necessarily have to always go first, so stop saying "ALWAYS" because it's simply not the case. I rarely if ever went first in any of my trades; and as for "real world examples" the guy who mows my lawn does the service first and then receives payment.

The rules of trading on ko4life, where the person with lower rep usually concedes to go first, are not always the same as what you find IRL. Your example fails because what we have here is an exchange of intangible goods and 100% no physical contact b/w people, it's fully virtual. The guy who mows the lawn has to provide a service before he gets paid, which is usually in person and in cash- there are no intangible goods involved. No one ever called Lina a hacker or cheater, so you're right this forum isn't exactly fitting for the topic. But, this forum is for those who want to check on some1's background for shady business happening. People come here b4 they finalize trades to make sure the person they trade with is 100% clean and trustworthy, so in that sense this topic fits. I've nothing against Lina, but what she's done and said so far make very little sense, and seeing as to how OP had to pay the consequence for someone else's mood swings, I could never trust her in any big money deal. If you don't mind being reported to NTT just in case you don't like Lina's terms, then by all means, go right ahead and play with fire.

This is probably somewhat off-topic, but what the heck.
I just love how you people see your characters and items in real life money. I can't really think of any other game where I'd go like "man, my weapon is worth 200 dollars, my shield is worth 100 dollars. Once I quit I can get like 600 dollars from my account" etc.
Can't you guys just enjoy the game and stop thinking in real life currency? Sure, babashopping as the KO people call it, has been and will be part of the game as long as it exists, but it doesn't mean it should be the most important thing about the game. People get so edgy and aggressive when real money is involved, chill a little.
Obviously I've also been involved in real money transactions as I sold my account when I quit, but I never looked at my character and saw a walking bank to make a quick buck out of.
Call me hypocrite or whatever, I'm bored and had absolutely nothing better to do than come here and speak my mind.
