Here go to this link, its a rapper named DZK. He proves he's not in it for the money, he has 100+ songs on there that are free to download. I recommend Now Now, Pipe Strike, or Vile Dialect.
Also, since alot of you seem to want a good rap song thats a story. Check out Dance With The Devil by Immortal Technique. One of the best songs I've heard and makes your jaw drop.
Rap owns :wub: I just don't like rap wich is made by some "whoop boob whigga nigga clan" who are pale as penguin ( eminem ) and pretending to be black. I can accept bands who don't use their native language on rap but I respect bands who do, but if band starts to sound like bronx area ghetto band and they live in sweden they are as redicilous as eminem in "I nigga" T-shirt.
Some songs are way too made up, but still entertaining so I can lissen and even like them. Because I am a cop I have to admit that most cop killa, whoop shoot songs are bunch of crap where some guy invented cool lyrics about thing he never knew shit about and never bothered to watch to mirror. Some are cool and are good protests, but 99% never saw real abuse, they maybe got max they asses spanked by their moms because they ate last sunday cookie.
I have to admit that old Salt'n'Pepa songs still make me laugh and smile so it gotta be good, musics purpoce is to wake up feelings and more happier they make us better music it is...but it's me I don't wanna spend 365 being sad and whining, still that "suits" to some ^_^

late 80's and early 90s rap was the real stuff, most of the modern rap is terrible. I listen to the music because I like it, I don't try to live the thug life and act like I was born and raised in south central like some people do. Rap artists don't tell ppl to act like that or go shoot people, so it's not their fault kids are being idiots and trying to act out their music.
