- The most unbiased source of news on american TV is on Comedy-Central. That speaks for itself.
- America is dependent on fossil fuels to a level that is unsustainable beyond the next couple of decades

Of course britain has crap things also, like the food, weather, public services and tony blair etc... but you dont see british people going around acting like patriotic monkeys outside footbal matches. Maybe the problem is that you haven't travelled. I have been all around europe and north america, it does widen your horizons. You need to realise that the USA is not the best country ever and there are many other places in the world that America can learn from. You should spend a few weeks in Toronto, that place is amazing. I think Toronto and Vancouver are two of the nicest cities to live in.

And who cares what is or isnt a sport, If darts and snooker are sports then that pretty widens it to all hobbies and pasttimes including eating hamburgers and extreme ironing. B)

So am I gonna call myself a swede because I live in sweden when I'm born in Kosovo and my ancestors in Kosovo have been living in the very same area for over 400 years. I can't march in to Sweden, kill half the population and call myself swedish now can I? You can't escape the fact that you're an immigrant.

Really dont understand what that has to do with loving your country. Someone cant love there country because there are "better" places in the world? I love how people who dont even live in america feel the need to talk about it like they know everything about it. -We have such a huge continent that of course we are gonna have ghettos but if you look at everyone who lives here and has a high living standard we are good.
-Our economy is at a peak right now and nearly no one is living in poverty, except for those in the ghettos of New York or New Orleans, which we have cleaned up a lot of.
