I have an imaginary GF and I don't go around killing people! Be fair to the rest of us peaceful, non-homicidal freaks please.

Sad day that no body will forget even if you werent and arent a member on that school, its just a shock that it can happen to a place where you never will think of it happening. I my self did not lose anyone in that, my cousin goes to that university, but wasnt feeling well that day, and stayed in bed, but my math teacher did lose 2 loved ones, she lost her neice, and she lost a good friend that was a professor there, who she grew up with. so let it be known that VT will always be remembered.

Yea i agree with that 33 people died, and now VT gets the attention, yes its sad, but its very sad that everyone will remember them for the wrong reasons, my cousin says VT is an awesome school, they really didnt need this to happen but honestly no school deserves that to happen to them

I sympathise with the families of the dead, but only an idiot couldnt see incidents like this coming. Its american culture, its a gun culture, guns should be reserved for licenced shooting clubs, the police and the armed forces. In england gun crime is bad enough, and its illegal to carry fire arms. Our gun crime is largely gang related though.

Id imagine in England we also have some pyscho kids with have played too many computer games, listened to too much emo music and stalked some random females who think they are a loser - the difference is they probably commit suicide here. Not decide to get a gun and take people with them.

With a bit of luck the US government might learn from this and review gun laws - but i doubt that - they didnt before so they wont start now, after all 1st commendement bollox and the right to bare arms.

 Morax, and i do agree with some of that, the US should recosider the gun thing, like the state i live in not that long ago passed a law so you can carry a consealed wepon in your car if you get a permit, so im waiting for a huge gun war to break out around where im at .and its amendment :P and its part of the bill of rights, if im not mistaken, and yes the first amendment does clearly state, we have the right to bare arms, but there should be some freaking restrictions on that

Its very sad, ppl were jumping out of windows and stuff out of fear..I just cant believe someone can go on such a killing spree without ppl realizing.

It just comes to show you that we live in an isolated world where people just keep to themselves.

haha thanks for the corrections - I knew it was ammendment - i was just being a retard its 5am in England and ive been up since 11am yesterday writing a dissertation!

Its a shame someone moved this topic some people might actually be able to have an intelligent discussion about this! but i guess it is off topic. I only studied one module in american politics whilst i was college but i learnt enough to realise that the 1st ammendment etc in the constitution will NEVER be changed. Its too much of a polical process to put it through congress and its a massive vote loser so political suicide for the president or party who try it - rednecks like guns, and theres alot of rednecks in america

I also think its a bit too late now to be honest!
