I chose PS3 because Metal Gear Solid 4 will be coming out on it eventually

I'm not a big X-Box fan, it never really caught my eye except for Halo which I can play on PC instead

ur sayin XBox is cheaper, but the price of xbox doesnt include HD-DVD, Wifi, Xbox live etc...so if u count full equipment, PS3 is cheaper

Xbox 360 after buying Wifi and the HD-DVD player ( games dont even come on HD DVD discs ) about $700, ps3 ( with BluRay support, and wifi AND HDMI ( not in the xbox 360, but it's in the Elite version after the ps3 was released ) for $600

The only way the first 360 can do High Def is via composite cables

Wifi for online gaming sucks
now u can get HDMI for the less than the core (now gone) ps3 20 gig

PS3 sucks for its price ... x360 is much better priced but it sucks that it has such a high failure rate

So ... im going with Sony this time if this doesnt get fixed... but when sony does a price drop... i wouldnt mind if they released a lesser model with no BR
