I'm about to buy a car. I have $2,000 cash for down payment. I'm thinking about getting a 4 door car.. nothing amazingly sporty.. I'll be on my own as far as insurance.. =( I'll need decent gas milage ofc... Only making $500~ every 2 weeks atm.

I'm thinking about getting a 2004 Jetta (4 door car.. not the wagon ffs.) Standard ftw...

Anyone have an suggestions about this car, or about another car I should look into?
I don't want something reliable.. I NEED something reliable.. I don't have options at the moment.

are you going to finance? if so I wouldn't recommend it, I tried to see how much it would come out to be if I did for my g35 the lot price was $22999, taxes and other fees jacked it up to $25~ then the financing jacked it up to $33,500 :/

Did 9 runs and won 6 of them. Last run I beat a 2001 BMW 728i/730i/735i ( I know it had 6 Cylinders ) and I beat him by a clear second.

I got a personal best of 15.9 on the day , so I am down on the 15.2 the car orginally would have done. Looking into sorting out my injection system as I have a mixture problem which is costing me bhp.
