Imo as an outsider the elections look like a joke.
The majority of the population are kinda retarded/dumb and will vote the person that are related to them.
Coloured people will vote Obama, Woman will vote Hilary.
Yeah, theres smart people, but they are overwhelmed by the horde of people blindly following someone they can "relate to" when it comes to race / gender.

Correct me if I'm wrong cause I didn't follow all, but on the news and what I've read so far it looks like that.

There have been tons of article's here ( belgium ) that are quoting entire fox broadcasts. They suggested obama has resemblances to hitler, and made fun of his name in the same breath.

Maybe you should find out who Roosevelt listened to back in the 1930's and 1940's. A guy named Keynes, author of "The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money". Now, lets look at what Bush is doing with the economy. They are near equal. The economy is fucked up because we are reaping the problems of the past 15 years.

1. to keep people fully employed, governments must run deficits when the economy slows down
2. without intervention of the government, the private sector is not going to invest
3. if the private sector does not invest, the market goes down. Businesses reduce their investments. Reductions in investments lead to fewer jobs and less consumption. Lower consumption leads to further lack of investment. Economy becomes stagnant and people are unable to satisfy their basic needs.

Now, we see deficits are needed at times. We have some government programs pumping money back into the economy. The problem lies with companies not investing here within the USA and just letting everything go out of the country.
