What do you think about Babashopping?

You don't need items to be good. I understand why people sell items when they quit and why people buy items to save time, but I think it really does hurt the game. Babashopping gives people a false sense of accomplishment in the game, people reap rewards they did not personally earn in game...it works kind of like steroids in professional sports. Some people think they need this extra boost to feel comfortable pking or leveling, but loose the genuine sense of pride and accomplishment that people find from personal achievements in game. Babashopping is like when I bought Game Genie for my GameBoy when I was little. Oh man it was sweet, but I knew that I ruined the fun of really winning and eventually got bored of the games faster. We see babashopped items get passed around, bought, sold, and resold, for this same purpose. I talked to many people who bought level 80 characters and say that it is boring after a while. You can't really get in better and theres no point in playing.

So I guess I am against it overall.[/b]

I am 24 years old with a real job and real bills. If I ever feel the need to buy gbs or any item for real money:

1. I work hard for my money and nobody can tell me how to spend it, especially when I budget and handle my real-life responsibilities and priorities first.

2. Premium and PUS items cost real money. Why stop there?

Some of you are too young and too poor to afford to babashop. Complaining about babashopping to me is as stupid as you complaining that someone is PUS scrolled, has valks, a pet, pathos gloves, etc.

Its just how u use ur assets to ur advantage. Time or Money?
MMORPG will never be a platform to reflect on fairness. If u want fairness in a game, go for RTS or FPS or something. Thats the harsh reality. Player achievements are not based on the same amount of hours played.

IMO, There is a difference between a Babashopper and a Cheater/Hacker/Duper. But mayb thats just me

You gotta face ko isnt a game with support like WoW where major hackers are found and banned. In this game theres ppl who want things now now now and u cant avoid that.
Babashopping from gms i think is total bullshit and unfair but buying from other players..meh if u got the money to waste and trust that person who cares.

A guy told me he bought my stuff to play with his friends, because all of his friends are lvl 70+ and doesnt have the time to lvl him. Therefore in order to play, he has to buy a lvl 70+ char. I totally understand that and that have totally change my mind about this.

However, I truely believe there is something wrong with people who buy items just to PK, and I have been told that. My translation of that is, I suck so here I am a 35 year old man need to buy items to kill a couple of people that are probably my children's age. Im sure he know who he is =)

to each their own, you must make your own choices in life and regardless of other's opinions you should live your own life. If you don't have the time to play the game to level and farm, and just want to PK with your friends..then go for it i guess.. i never saw any reason to invest into something that I cannot hold in my hand, or slide around corners with.

If you want to babashop then do it. Its your own personal business and your own life.

buying single item from this shity game for usd is lame as hell, buying bronze prem is more than enough, for all those "services"

You probably complain about the CEO driving a Mercedes or the doctor driving a BMW. It's not fair they have a high end car and you can only afford 1989 Chevy Cavalier?

Age doesnt exist in mmorpg, wether the person is 15 or 35 they all still have to press OK.

Babashop is what keeps this game alive. Money and Items regulate within the community itself. When an old player leaves, new player comes and pick it up, keeping the server populated and etc.

No babashoper = no KO.

yes i agree on this statement...like in my server too many old players quited already...good thing new people coming....if no babashop how can they compete ? no one will play lvl 1 in 1 year old server....I think this is one factor that keeps the server alive ...no one will keep his items forever <_< ..
