    Was I talking about relativism?

    Those sources are
    1. credible
    2. proven
    3. widely accepted

Just because you think George Washington wasn't our first president, it doesn't make it true. It doesn't change history.[/b]
No, I was, lol. Hence why I said it...

Once again, "credible" and "widely accepted" are subjective terms. And your last statement is precisely what I am trying to prove, lol.

    You need serious help...

"Theories" are proven with supporting statements. Theories can be rejected or accepted, it is accepted when it shown to be "significantly true". Do you know what confidence interval is? Most marketing researches are done with a 95% confidence interval. Apply that to scientific research. Scientists minimize their biases, if the biases have a huge effect, you think they are dumb enough to accept that?

There are biases results because marketers/scientists try to support their employer's claim. However don't put them in with real marketers / scientists trying to find real results to improve society. Researches are recorded for future purposes because usually it's redone over and over and over and over...Also they leave comments and recommendations for future researches.

If my last statement is true, then what's your problem with me saying American car companies are screwing Americans? Because they did and fortunately for them, Americans are too retarded to realize it.

We are talking about conflicting political ideologies. There is no clear cut, right or wrong, hence why we have these debates. You think your facts are correct, and I think my facts are correct, hence proof for my statement.

I never said American car companies did not try to screw Americans.

I'm showing you how sources are credible and theories are widely accepted. However, it's a pointless argument.

However I still want the retarded Moe to tell us how he came to the conclusion businesses are caring and loving after tax break.

C'mon Moe, tell us how businesses turn from Satan to Santa after a tax break. They magically start to care about their costumers and employees right?

    satan=santa...duh

    santa---->satan

truth is, the way our economy is, the government being dumber than a blind retard trying to read aristotle, and the lack of trust big corporations have in obama's spread the wealth plan, no one is going to be acting like santa

Now when I talk about America, I am talking in general terms. Not all Americans are the same or believe in the same things.
We have been in the lead for inventions and consumerism for a long time, but we seem to be lacking morally compared to other industrialized nations. We also are very stubborn. We are like a spoiled teenager, flipping off our fathers (other countries from which all our ancestors come from) thinking we know it all.
When compared to other industrialized nations,

    1. One of the last to free slaves. http://www.dur.ac.uk/4schools/Slavery4/timeline.htm

    2. One of the last to give woman rights. http://womenshistory.about.com/od/suffrage...tl_timeline.htm

    3. One of the last countries that don’t use the metric system. http://www.wisegeek.com/does-the-world-exc...tric-system.htm

    4. We drive around in our huge trucks and SUV’s while other countries have been using smaller more gas efficient cars. http://www.newsweek.com/id/111829/page/2

    5. A lot of the other industrialized nations have taken the moral responsibility to have less children. I talked to a Japanese student at my college about it. He said “we are living longer, healthier lives, why do we need more kids?” We use to have big families because the mortality rate was higher, and we needed those kids to work on the farm.

    6. Only industrialized nation that doesn’t have universal health coverage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_health_care (Yeah I used wikipedia, I got lazy)

    7. Most other countries have maternity leave, and pay. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/234...ityleave01.html

    8. We have higher underage pregnancies rates. http://www.advocatesforyouth.org/PUBLICATI...et/fsprechd.htm

The people that wrote the Declaration, lead, and helped to build this country, were philosophers. They were great men who had great hope for this country. Most of them were deists as well. George Washington was a deist, but he went to church because he knew people would be more likely to vote for him and follow him if they thought of him as a Christian. The Christian church kicked T.J. out because he was too liberal, now they want to claim he was a Christian. “Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity.”
-Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782

Analyst has said that the world is shifting. America is no longer the leader (in business), we will still be one of the best, but other countries are stepping up.
Capitalism has been great for creating better products; products that have helped improve the quality of our life. But there are downsides. Demoralizing us, and tearing down our self images. Telling us that our life will be better if we have some products, we aren’t pretty enough, good enough unless we have the latest blah blah. This causes great stress on us. I watched 2 different news stories. They talked about how the southern states, mostly in the bible belt have the highest use of prescription drugs. They have more health probems, mostly diabetes, and high blood pressure. We struggle to get our necessities while TV makes us feel we aren’t good enough. They don’t want you to think that you are beautiful without caking your face in makeup. They want men to feel manlier for having a bigger car or the latest gadget. So we slave away to try to reach those things. We put actors and football stars on pedestals. Blast them on magazines and TV. We celebrate physical beauty and forget about the intelligent ppl that improve the quality of our lives. It’s no wonder we are so emotional about it in the end. We work so hard to obtain these things that we think will make our lives better, we often forget about the simple beautiful things in life. We forget about each other.
"And say, finally, whether peace is best preserved by giving energy to the government or information to the people. This last is the most certain and the most legitimate engine of government. Educate and inform the whole mass of the people. Enable them to see that it is their interest to preserve peace and order, and they will preserve them. And it requires no very high degree of education to convince them of this. They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty." --Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 1787. Some ppl are so ignorant, they hear "spread the wealth" and seem to have no idea what it means. Can't seem to think for themselves. Taxes are taken to spread around to projects. Like better schools, programs for kids, better roads. Stuff like that. Improve our country and make ppl smart?? Stupid ppl like Palen say "taxes are unpatriotic" I would rather be a happy socialist than a pissed off, stressed out capitalist. Oh wait those counties are democracies, and they spread the wealth??? And they are happy?! How can this be!!!!!

    Trusting businesses LOL

Yes, businesses in capitalism are like Jesus who is loving and caring. We did not need all those ACTs regarding fair wages, safe environment, ability to form union to negotiate, and child labor.

Yes, Moe we are not regulating capitalism. We are regulating greed. I see you learn it from Bush, like the Patriot Act. Americans still have their freedom (don't mind us over your shoulder) but that is just to regulate the greedy terrorists who want us to die.

    That made my day.

I have never seen someone as stupid as this guy talking about correlation.

Correlation is meaningless in a finding of a study because there is no casual relationship. That is, the variables in the correlation are independent of one and another. One didn't cause the other.

Since my family move, there has been no terrorist attacks. That's a correlation. Was there no terrorist attacks because my family moved? No.

May God help this nation out of idiocracy.

Maybe instead of running away from problems and ignoring them, we would rather try to fix them?
